Perfect little cottage, well situated for country and coast. Really enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.
The only thing that we were disappointed was how close to the a35we were you could hear the traffic inside even with the door closed. Every thing else was fine.
Very much enjoyed. Lovely couple who own the cottage very friendly. The cottage was immaculately clean and decorated well throughout. We will be back
The weather was very hot, so needed to open windows and doors night and day - the noise from the A35 was very loud!
Lavender is in a delightful situation, with extensive views. It is very well equipped and although close to the A 35, which is an advantage for getting around, we did not experience any traffic noise nuisance. The owners are a lovely couple, very willing to do anything to help, and even put the central heating on for those cold Spring mornings and evenings without being asked to do so. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return.
Yes we certainly did enjoy our stay. Location was lovely and perfect for us to explore Dorset. Accomodation was clean and very well equipped. We really appreciated the extras like milk tea bags etc to get us going.
nice to be able to walk dog round cottages
The location offers incredible views of the Dorset countryside . However the proximity of the A35 does mean that there is a degree of road noise .
We had a very pleasant comfortable stay no complaints at all. We would stay here again and the owners were very nice when we saw them!. Nice location just wish the weather had been a bit better!
Bed not that comfortable but the cottage was very well equipped and clean. Well suited for people with limited mobility good wide door to enter property
Thank you for the feedback. Whilst owners try very hard to supply the best they can afford for guests sometimes such things as bed comfort is difficult to gauge for individuals so there is always a tendancy to opt for longevity.
