Loved it and the trees mentioned in other reviews have now been taken down so the property is light and airy and benefits from a sunny courtyard.

The Old Chapel, Churchill was exactly what we wanted from a holiday home for two adults and two dogs, located in the middle of countless footpaths and bridleways providing excellent walks for the dogs, including a leisurely stroll to Chardstock for great Sunday lunch at The George Inn. The house is presented in excellent condition with top quality furnishings and also has a well equipped kitchen. Only minutes drive from Axminster, about 15 minutes to the larger town of Honiton, and not much further to some of the south coasts wonderful beaches and seaside resorts. We absolutely love the place.

Yes great

April 2018

We had a great time. Only comment would be to add a few more basics to the kitchen - cooking oil, some coffee, tea etc. We brought most of our cooking needs but not oil which was an issue.

February 2018

Yes we enjoyed our stay, the property downstairs was very dark I guess due to the neighbours Trees, not sure if there is anything you could do about this. Lovely location, very quiet and peaceful. Nice conversion but the fixtures upstairs let it down a bit, and the bathroom was a bit old. Everywhere was very clean though and the heating once it was on worked a treat.

October 2017

Yes and No, we found the cottage to be too remote and as it was down in a valley and had tall trees on two sides that did not allow any sun to reach the small garden.

April 2016

The Old Chapel, Churchill was set in very peaceful surroundings and was ideally located to visit the East Devon and Dorset coast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and so did our 2 golden retrievers.
