Kowhai Cottage, pronounced 'coe feye' in the Maori language of New Zealand, is a modern one bedroom property near Lyme Regis which boasts stunning countryside views across the famed Marshwood Vale, an area of outstanding natural beauty.  The fabulous rural setting can be appreciated from all aspects of this holiday home and particularly enjoyed from its bedroom, patio/deck and large garden.  The cleverly designed property has a spiral staircase which leads to a delightful bedroom with en-suite and balcony. And the open-plan living/dining room and fitted kitchen is complemented with french doors leading to seating outside.  Full central heating is included making this a wonderful year-round retreat from which to explore the area.

Please note: due to the spiral staircase this property may not be suitable for some guests and is not suitable for children under 7 years of age.

Only a five minute drive from the sea at Lyme Regis and positioned near the A35 on the Dorset/Devon border the whole of the Jurassic Coast, now a World Heritage site, is within easy reach.  For those that enjoy a culinary treat, the highly commended HIX restaurant is located in Lyme Regis and the celebrity chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's River Cottage shop and restaurant are also only a short drive away in the East Devon market town of Axminster.  Walkers will be drawn to this wonderful location with its wealth of countryside, and with the Wessex Ridgeway Trail passing adjacent to the property this will also be an excellent base to explore the quiet laneways to Charmouth Woods and the Marshwood Vale, along with access to the beautiful South West Coastal footpath.  Those preferring to explore the area by car will find themselves well placed to easily access the many attractions of East Devon, West Dorset and South Somerset.
