This 300 year old Coach House and stable conversion is located within an attractive walled courtyard and exhibits a charming character emphasised by retaining some of its original features such as old beams and an inglenook fireplace with working wood burner.  Recently renovated with oak flooring mixed with the original flagstones from its past history this property is finished to a high standard with a fabulous dining table for family friendly gatherings.  This property and the very appealing Stable Cottage across the courtyard, offers combined holiday acccomodation for up to 10 people in the Old Coach House and up to 5 guests in Stable Cottage.  With the added benefit of on demand hot water and central heating makes this a very comfortable and inviting holiday home for a big group or multiple families.  Please also see Stable Cottage, which sleeps up to 5 guests.  One small, well behaved dog welcome in the Coach House.

Stable Cottage, which is just across the courtyard, is superbly finished and extends into a very spacious conservatory for relaxation and dining.  From here the French doors lead to the patio area and stylish outdoor furniture where you can enjoy alternative dining at warmer times of the year.  Recently renovated and finished to a high standard this fabulous property is a superb choice for family or friends.  

Coach House: Entrance porch to front door and hallway.  Lounge has a leather 5 seater sofa and two armchairs, flat screen TV, three feature chairs and a Wood burner.  Kitchen with Full Range gas AGA (this will be unavailable in the summer unless specially requested by the guest), double oven and grill, American Fridge with plumbed in chilled water feed and ice cube maker, 4-slice toaster, dishwasher and microwave.  Groundfloor cloakroom.  Utility room (shared) with washing machine, tumble dryer and drying facilities.  Dining area consists of an impressive dining table for up to 15 people, with the adddition of a small kitchen table to seat a smaller group.  A second Lounge area has a 3 seater and 2 seater sofa along with table foootball and Flatscreen TV.  Patio doors lead to the terrace and garden. 

Stairs to first floor and Bedroom 1 with a 4ft 6inch double bed.  Family bathroom with separate shower and bath, W.C. and wash basin.  Bedroom 2 with 4ft 6inch four poster bed.  Bedrom 3 with twin 3ft beds.  Bedroom 4 with 4ft 6inch double bed.  Master bedroom with 5ft King size bed and ensuite with separate bath and shower, W.C and washbasin.  Balcony with views over  the countryside.

Stable Cottage:  Front door to hallway.  Lounge has a 2 seater sofa, two armchairs and flat screen TV.  Kitchen fully equipped with oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher and microwave.  Utility room (shared) with washing machine, tumble dryer and drying facilities.  Steps down to the conservatory with a dining table and chairs to seat 5 guests and two seater sofa.  French doors lead to the terrace and garden.  Ground floor area leads to Bedroom 1 with a 4ft 6inch double bed and single 3ft daybed.  Bedrom 2 with twin 3ft beds.  Family bathroom with shower over bath, W.C. and wash basin. 

Patio area with a large picnic bench.  Gravel area with garden furniture.  Shared lawn garden, 56ft x 50ft..  Views across the local countryside.  Webber BBQ.

Off-road parking for 2-3 cars in the shared courtyard along with additional roadside parking.  There is also extra parking available down a private lane for guests only.

  • Included: Bed linen and towels, (please bring your own beach towels), WiFi, electricity, central heating, highchair and travel cot upon request (please bring your own linen).  First basket of logs and fuel supplied.
  • Pets: One small, well behaved dog welcome in public areas of Coach House property only (not bedrooms). Pet Charge: £25.00 per pet per week (£30.00 from Jan 2019).

  • Local facilities: Beach, shops, pubs and restaurants: less than a mile in the car or 20 minute walk steadily downhill to the town centre, promenade and beach.
