New for the 2019 Season

This fabulous property is the perfect venue for a family holiday, celebration or friends reunion.  A large sitting room with access to a dining area for 10 guests makes this property ideal for larger groups.  Welcoming and relaxing on three levels, light and airy with very spacious rooms that include an additional dining area off the well equipped kitchen.  With the added bonus of a private patio area for those summer evening sundowners, this is a perfect property for a memorable holiday.  Beautifully presented and equipped with all mod cons and creature comforts, Asa's Fee will provide a fantastic base for a coastal holiday in the warmer season.

A short drive away are the popular coastal towns of Seaton, Beer, Charmouth, Lyme Regis and West Bay.  The popular Seaton Tramway, running along the Axe estuary, stops nearby offering a relaxing way to discover the local area. The whole of the Jurassic Coast, now a World Heritage site, is within easy reach and the lovely West Dorset seaside town of Lyme Regis is only 15 minutes away by car with its sandy beach and seafront promenade, along with many other restaurants, cafes, pubs and tearooms. For those that enjoy a culinary treat, celebrity chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's River Cottage shop and restaurant are also only a short drive away in the East Devon market town of Axminster.

Front door to hallway.  Leads to Kitchen/diner, fully equipped with a New Range master double oven and gas grill and hob (Aga is being replaced), American style fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, 4-slice toaster, DAB radio and two bar stools.  Dining table and chairs for six guests.  Utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and iron press.  Ground floor WC and wash basin.   The Lounge has a 3 seater and 2 seater sofas, tub chairs, Flatscreen TV, Sky movies, Netflix, X-Box, Blu-Ray DVD, Surround Sound system and compendium of games.  Lounge and hallway leads to Conservatory with a dining table to seat 10 guests with access to the garden.  Stairs to Bedroom 1 with Kingsize 5ft bed and Ensuite with shower over bath, wash basin and WC.  Bedroom 2 with 4ft 6inch double bed.  Family bathroom with corner bath, separate shower, washbasin and WC.  Stairs to Bedroom 3 with twin 3ft beds.  Bedroom 4 with Kingsize 5ft bed.  Bedroom 5 with 3ft twin beds.  Family shower room with WC and washbasin.


Private patio garden, fully enclosed with two sets of dining tables and chairs.  There is gate access from the private driveway into the garden.  A 10ft trampoline is available for children only.

Private driveway at the side of the house, accessed through double doors.  Space for 3 cars with an open storage area for bikes and kayaks if needed.

Yes we enjoyed our stay. A nice touch to have baskets of toys, Lego etc and a good selection of games . WiFi was good.Doggie welcome pack great. Felt the single beds were really only suitable for children,but this was not made clear when I booked for 8 adults. Again happy to discuss any of these points especially if it makes someone else’s holiday better.

Asa's Fee is a lovely, spacious family home, ideal for our group of 8 ranging from 6-72. It is in an ideal location; only a short drive to lovely beaches and walking distance to local shops and pubs. Plus a short walk to the Seaton Tramway. There were lots of things to entertain our group, books, board games and an x box for rainy days. We thoroughly enjoyed our break in Colyton.

Hi, my name is Martin and I am the property manager who looks after Asa’s Fee. I would like to mention some of the reasons why I think you’ll love this property, joining us for the 2019 season. First of all, the location is great for peace and quiet. The area is an AONB and you are just a short walk from the local shops and pubs in the pretty village. The Seaton tramway can be accessed from here and it’s only a short drive to the Jurassic Coast. The property itself is very comfortable, well presented and equipped to high standards with plenty of space for up to 10 guests. There is also the added feature of private parking and patio garden with plenty of seating for everyone outside and the kids can have an energetic bounce on the big trampoline.
