Holiday cottages for short breaks

Outside of busy periods many of our holiday cottages are available for short breaks. Why not escape to the beautiful Lyme Bay coast during the quieter months and enjoy a midweek break or a long weekend break in one of our holiday cottages.

The Devon and Dorset border - a great place to take a short break

The East Devon and West Dorset area is the perfect place to escape to for an invigorating weekend or midweek break – and it’s a great way to re-charge your batteries and relieve the stresses of everyday life. Take time for some rest and relaxation and come and enjoy the breathtaking scenery, country and coastal walks and bracing sea air when there are not so many people around.

Weekend and midweek breaks

Short breaks are usually three nights over a weekend (Friday to Monday or Saturday to Tuesday) or four nights for a midweek break (Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday). As a general guide for most properties, short break pricing is calculated as follows:

3 night break – 70% of the weekly tariff
4 night break – 75% of the weekly tariff

Any variation to this pricing will be shown on the individual property details. If you want to take a short break that falls outside of the standard booking pattern please call us – we can often tailor a break to your requirements between November and February.

Restrictions on short breaks

Please note that short breaks are not available during July and August, or during any school holiday weeks except where there is very late availability (7 -10 days in advance of the arrival date). Please always call us before attempting to book such short breaks online – our website will show pricing and availability for short breaks during these periods but we will not be able to confirm these short break bookings unless agreed by telephone or email in advance – please do check with us first to avoid disappointment.
