Guidelines for pet owners visiting pet friendly cottages

In our experience dog owners are some of the most considerate holidaymakers and are more than happy to abide by some basic house rules. Our holiday cottage owners ask that dogs are kept off the furniture and out of bedrooms. In the interests of the animal and the property it is never advisable to leave a dog alone in a strange place - our owners do ask that you don’t leave a dog unattended in the holiday cottage during your stay. Naturally all faeces should be cleared up and suitably disposed of during your holiday. There is a £20 per week (or part week) supplement for each dog. Please note that some holiday cottages will accommodate one dog and others will accommodate two - please see the individual property descriptions for full details or give us a call to check. The number of dogs accepted at a property can sometimes depend on the breed.

If you are considering bringing your dog(s) during the summer you should bear in mind that there are access restrictions for dogs on some Dorset and Devon beaches. Even if access to the beach is restricted during the summer there are still plenty of fantastic coastal and countryside walks that you can enjoy with your dog(s).
