This newly refurbished garden studio is superbly located only five minutes level walk from the famous fossil beach in the charming seaside village of Charmouth, on the stunning West Dorset coast. The property has been carefully designed by the thoughtful owners to make excellent use of the space. A brand new fitted kitchen and shower/wet room are complimented by an open plan studio-style bed/sitting room. Glass doors open fully to extend the living area onto a delightful, private, south-facing garden patio with furniture. The bed is made-up as a super-king size double but can also be split to provide twin beds giving maximum flexibility (please specify if required when booking). Full gas central heating, as well as a modern gas flame fire, makes this property a great choice for cosy out-of-season coastal breaks too. Sorry but no infants or children under 16.
LOCATION
The studio is quietly located in a residential lane, about 5 minutes level walk from the beach. Charmouth has a small selection of shops and a post office as well as a couple of pubs, cafes and restaurants. The Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre on the seafront provides a wealth of information about local geology and fossil hunting. The village is also a great location for walkers; the South West Coast footpath and a network of inland footpaths allow you to explore the stunning West Dorset coast and countryside with ease. There are regular bus routes running through the village right along the Jurassic coast.
Those wanting to explore the area by car will find many places of interest, including the county town of Dorchester and cathedral city of Exeter, within easy reach. The lovely, unspoilt seaside town of Lyme Regis is only a couple of miles to the west.

Studio-annex on one level. Ground floor: Kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, larder fridge (no ice box) and washing machine. Shower/wet room with w.c. Bedroom/sitting room with super-king size double bed (can also be made-up as twin beds please request when booking), sitting area with TV/DVD, gas fire and small dining table. Full height, sliding glass doors opening to a south-facing patio area with seating.
