This traditional stone built cottage offers spacious and relaxing holiday accommodation in a quiet rural setting very close to the Jurassic coastline of Lyme Bay, famous for fossil hunting and fabulous coastal walking. Set in acres of beautiful gardens and grounds the cottage includes one double and two twin bedrooms, providing ample space for family groups, couples holidaying together or walking groups. The comfortable living area includes a well-equipped kitchen/diner as well as a large sitting room. The acres of surrounding gardens and grounds are a real delight, just waiting to be explored by young and old alike. One of five holiday cottages set around a cobbled courtyard near to the village of Musbury, about a mile and a half from the attractive East Devon market town of Axminster. For those looking to enjoy the local produce, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's River Cottage farm and popular restaurant are very nearby. This Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with stunning rural views across the river valley, is also haven for walkers. The cottage is only about 4 miles (5 minutes drive) from the beach at Seaton and the pretty West Dorset seaside town of Lyme Regis is around 7 miles away. There are lots of attractions and outings in the local area aimed at young and old alike including Seaton Tramway, the Donkey Sanctuary at Sidmouth, Forde Abbey, Crealy Adventure Park and Escot Gardens. A great location from which to discover all that this beautiful area has to offer.

First floor: Bedroom 1 with double bed. Bedroom 2 with twin beds. Bedroom 3 with twin beds. Bathroom with bath, shower over bath and w.c. Outside: Private patio area with furniture and barbeque. Communal gardens with over 2 acres of lawns, shrubs and wooded areas. Acres of further grounds beyond.

Space for one addiitonal infant - cot & highchair available please request when booking. Access to a shared utility area with tumble dryers.There is a wide range of play equipment freely available for guest's use including table tennis, bikes, bat & ball games etc. Wireless internet access available on site.
Off-road parking for one or two cars. Shop: 1.5 miles. Pub: 1 mile. Beach: 3 miles. Three well behaved dogs welcome. No smoking. Arrival 3.00pm - departure 10.00am. Arrival day for weekly bookings Saturday. Short breaks available from October to March (excluding school holidays). At other times please enquire before booking online as short breaks will only be possible where there is very late availability.
